Every day, thousands of used vehicles change hands on a hunch. A walk-around and an opinion. The most expensive part of your business, decided by whoever happened to be standing there with no structure or standard. We built AutoSonix because that never made sense to us.
What we built
AutoSonix listens to a running vehicle, cross-checks what it hears against the car’s own onboard diagnostics, and delivers one objective mechanical score in minutes, at intake, before anyone bids, buys, or underwrites. Think of it as a credit score for the vehicle’s mechanical condition: one number, generated the same way for every vehicle, read the same way by everyone in the deal.
Built to be a standard, not a feature
The automotive industry runs on a handful of standards. VIN standardized identity. OBD-II standardized onboard diagnostics. FICO standardized credit on the finance side of every deal. Mechanical condition, the thing every used-vehicle decision actually turns on, has never had one. PTX™ exists to be that standard: the same objective score, on every vehicle, at every intake, read the same way by every stakeholder in the industry.
Our Approach
Captured at Intake
Any team member records the running vehicle when it arrives. No lift, no mechanic, no training.
One Objective Score
Every evaluation starts from the same number, before subjectivity enters the picture.
The Score Travels
The PTX™ score attaches to the vehicle and follows it, accessible to your team across your entire operation.
Built as a Standard
PTX™ is not a feature. It is a measurement standard: consistent, repeatable, and durable across every make, model, and market.
